Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she took flute lessons and harpsichord for three years. Lennox was able to survive on the stipend of a student, and worked part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox was able to make a change in her career path after she became dissatisfied by her inexperience in the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox performed flute in the band Dragons Playground. The group didn't make it to the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. From 1977 to 1980 she was main vocalist of The Tourists, a British pop group. That was also where she came across Dave Stewart with whom she will form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox started work for Diva in 1992. This was her first solo album. The album garnered a lot of praise, both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favorite blues and soul tracks from her early years. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. She released her first solo album along with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'll Let You Go."
