Sutton Foster is an award-winning actor, singer and dancer who has been featured in eleven Broadway productions - including the return of Violet and also played lead roles in the Broadway productions including The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and the Tony Award-winning roles on Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sutton Foster was an Star Search contestant at the age of 15 and has appeared in Bunheads as well as Psych. She has also performed in Sesame Street and Law and Order SVU. Sutton Foster is a soloist who has performed in the US as well as overseas along with Michael Rafter. They have recorded songs from her debut album "Wish" along with the sequel CD An Evening with Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. She received her Honorary Doctorate in the year 2011 at Ball State University, where she is also an advisor and faculty member to the Department of Theatre and Dance. Since March, 2015, she has been acting as "Younger" in TVLand the new TV show developed by Darren Star.
